Grants for our Tri-State Area:
Since 2005, we have awarded over $230,000 in dollars for grants to worthwhile non-profit organizations and educational institutions.
If you are a qualified organization and would like to seek a grant from KACF we welcome your grant application if you are an organization that has been determined by the IRS to be exempt under Section 501(c) (3) of the IRS Code. Applicants will complete the Community Foundations Grant Application Form, and submit it with the other required documents.
Proposals are usually received by August 31 each year and awarded in November.
Grant requests are considered in the fields of arts and culture, community betterment, education, health care and human services.
The Community Foundation’s primary geographic focus for support encompasses Western Illinois; Northeast Missouri; and Southeast Iowa. The KACF Board may award partial funding to some applicants.
